My Holy Grail Face Mask.

I love face masks. There is just something about putting a mask on that makes you feel so pampered and relaxed. I like masks that actually make it feel like it is cleaning my pores out. I found this mask at Ulta months ago and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I try to do this once a week and if I am having more skin issues than usual, I will use it at least two times that week. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup on an everyday basis. Just a light layer of foundation, blush, bronzer, and mascara. Literally so simple to put on and head out of the door. But sometimes your pores just seemed clogged or it’s that time of the month and your skin just needs a refresh.

I like to apply a even layer all over my face and then let it sit for about 10 minutes or until it is fully dry. It definitely makes your skin feel tighter and so clean whenever you remove it. It is about $15, but it will last you a long time. Anytime I have breakouts, I like to use this at night and after the next morning, it seems like my skin is less oily and the breakouts are less prominent. You seriously need to try this stuff out. I would be careful if you have super sensitive skin because it does deep clean your pores and will leave you with reddish skin if you are super sensitive. My skin will be a little red, but goes away within a few minutes. I highly recommend this product.

OOTN

LOVING these items for transitioning in to Fall. This choker tee is so perfect and I love the color. It can easily be paired with a cute sweater or leather jacket to make it a little warmer in cooler weather. Also, this layered necklace was $6.90 from Forever 21. I love affordable pieces that are so versatile. Lastly, this liquid lip from Urban Decay vice in the shade amulet. Definitely need to try it out.

Casual Outfit

I love a casual and comfortable look. I’m really into distressed denim and loafer/mules right now, so of course they were both a part of my casual outfit. Plus, I love that the pieces are so basic and can be worn in different ways to give it a new look. Everything is linked below like usual. Hope you all enjoy and have a great weekend.

This look is casual, but I think the loafer/mule slip on shoes and the sleeve detail dress this look up a bit. I just layered some necklaces, added my favorite watch and that was literally it. Exact shirt linked here.

Fall items you NEED

Fall is my favorite season. I love that it is the perfect temperature. Not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect. I love all of the Fall candles and pumpkin muffins. All of the rich orange colors throughout Fall are just so appealing to me. Anyways, I decided to do a post even though it has been pretty warm.. I just can’t help shopping for Fall items. I really like basics that I can wear multiple ways and I found this B.P. side slit long sleeve from Nordstrom and I am in love. It is 19$ and it comes in a ton of colors. It is oversized so keep that in mind when ordering, but I just love all of the colors and I am trying not to order every color.

I am loving the long vest trend this year. I think it is such a basic piece to have and it can complete a look. I just really like how it looks with skinny jeans and the slip on mules/loafers that are such a big thing for Fall. I love mine and want a black and burgundy pair too. They are so comfy and pair so easily with so many outfits. I am actually obsessed with the slip on mules/loafers.

Another thing I am loving is the Free People high rise denim. And this olive shade for Fall is so pretty. Yes, Free people is more expensive, but the quality is so good. I am more into quality over quantity. I would rather have a few nice items in my closet than a bunch of cheaper items that won’t last as long. That’s why I don’t spend a whole lot on trendy items that I know I won’t wear for a long time. That is why I stick to more neutral shades in my wardrobe.

I also really like maxi/midi dresses for Fall. You can get so many styles, prints, and colors and pair them with your favorite bootie or heel and you are set. I love wearing longer dresses because it doesn’t take much thought, but you have a whole outfit at once. I love it. I have linked some cute options as well.

Another must have for Fall is a cute baseball cap. I love this hat that says Saturday. I live for the weekend. And the Blush color and the distressed look of the hat is right up my alley. I LOVE IT!

I hope you enjoyed my must have items for Fall. Who else is excited for cooler weather and pumpkin spiced everything? Have a great rest of the week everyone.

You don’t need them anymore.

I have gained friends and lost friends over the course of 22 years. And I know I will gain and lose friends over the next 22. That is just life. We grow apart, we make life changes that don’t involve some people, and we sometimes just stop liking people and that is OKAY. I am not a perfect friend, fianc√©, daughter, sister, cousin, etc. I will admit that. But I have never stopped trying to improve.

I am the type of person who gives and believes in second chances. I believe people make mistakes and I also believe that if God is willing to grant us forgiveness then shouldn’t we forgive others? There just not much someone could do to me that I can’t eventually forgive and move on from. But sometimes forgiveness and second chances doesn’t always mean that these people need to stay in your life long-term necessarily. That’s what I want to talk about in this blog post because it has been on my mind so much lately.

Someone who only is around for the good times in life is not someone you want to keep around long-term. Life isn’t always peachy and life will not be perfect. Whoever this person is in your life that literally disappears when you just need to vent or you are having a rough patch.. maybe they aren’t needed in this season of your life. They may not be able to show sympathy because they have never been shown sympathy from others. Or they may just not care. That is something you may never know and that is okay. It is better to not waste energy on someone who doesn’t put energy into your friendship, relationship, etc. Yes, you can tell them how you feel, but if they don’t make a change or even try.. maybe it is time to lean on someone else for support if that is what you need.

A friend, S/O, or even family member who constantly doesn’t support you even with something you really believe in probably doesn’t deserve to be in your life. I don’t mean supporting financially. I mean supporting your dreams, beliefs, and goals. It is so okay to disagree, but if someone truly loves and respects you and that dream belief or goal isn’t life threatening, they should want to support and love you. Because that is what close friends, significant others, and family members are for. Whether you agree with what they do, the decisions they make in life, or whatever else it may be you always support the people you care about in my opinion.

I have been a friend who only hangs out or talks to someone when it’s convenient for me. Reflecting on that friendship I feel terrible about that now. But that person didn’t need me in their life long-term because I wasn’t the friend they needed at times and I realize that now. I wasn’t a good friend and they didn’t need me in her life considering she had other friends that were more present in her life. Moving forward, I have made changes to try to be more present in my friends life. I was one of the friends that wasn’t needed anymore. And that is okay because other people will change and you may be the friend they cut out of their life. You have to respect that and move on if they have made it clear that they don’t want you in your life.

Lastly, I don’t think you need someone who is constantly draining. If they are always complaining and they never have anything positive to say, you will eventually start to become like that. And who wants to be depressed or negative all of the time? Life is too short to always see the glass half empty. You can find good in most things and I truly believe that. I am not saying it’s easy to find a positive side. You definitely have to want that, but some people don’t look at life like that. I am not saying that is wrong, but I don’t want to live my life always complaining. You have to make a conscious effort to think positive and if someone in your life can’t support that and they are still always negative.. it is time to move on from that person no matter who it is.

I think the list could be longer but these are the few kinds of people that you don’t need in your life. I believe it is okay to miss that friendship, relationship, or whatever it may be.. but I do think it is important to evaluate and remember why you don’t need them in your life. I know this was a different kind of post than I usually make, but I think it needed to be posted. Thanks everyone for reading. Hope you have a great week.

(P.S. This look will be on the Blog Friday!)
