So I have been seeing The Ordinary skincare popping up all over my social media with some recommendations from friends and I decided to give it a try. I ended up placing an order for 6 different products for a total of $40. Seems too good to be true right? Well for the past week I have been testing out these products exactly like they recommend on their website and my skin has responded so well to these products. I went through their online book to see what I wanted based on my skin needs and I ended up ordering the following products. (Exact products are linked):
Alpha Lipoic Acid: This is an antioxidant treatment that is used to smooth and refine skin tone and it is a bit oily, but seems to really be helping my skin and works well with the EUK for me personally. Love this product!
EUK 134 0.1%: This product is said to reduce radical damage and reduce redness. My cheeks tend to stay fairly red and this product has helped so much in reducing redness.
Salicylic Acid 2% Solution: Used to fight acne, unclog pores, and clarify skin. I just place a small amount on any acne and it helps clear it up quickly. I can see such a big difference in just one week.
Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%: This is used to brighten and hydrate skin. I only use this every other night before bed and it helps brighten my skin tone and helps reduce any dark spots on my skin. It is gritty, but works so well under a heavy moisturizer at night!
Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5: Used to hydrate and plump skin. I have been applying this morning and night and my skin doesn’t even feel like my skin. It is so soft and this is probably my favorite product especially for the price.
AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution: I use this once a week and it is supposed to help with uneven skin tone, texture, and dullness. I have only used this once, but I liked it. I will check back in once I have used it more than the one time.
Overall, I am highly impressed with these products. There were a few I wanted that were out of stock so I will be checking back to order those when I can. I think you should try these out if you are looking for affordable skincare. I also have more of my favorite skincare that are more high end skincare that tend to be kind of pricey, but if you want to check those out.. you can go to the beauty section in my drop down menu to check out my other favorites! Thanks for reading!
