Outfit of the Night!

I have had this cute lace top for so long now. I know it is a little riskayyy, but I kind of like it. It is a higher neck, so thats also a plus. I bought this from Shein months ago and I am just now getting a chance to wear it. IN LOVEEE. I believe it comes in two different colors as well and it is linked here.

I also have been loving these white Jessica Simpson jeans from Macy’s. They are so stretchy and don’t even feel like jeans. I love them. I also love the frayed uneven hem look. Definitely a must if you are in the market for a new pair of jeans.

I paired it with this necklace from the styled collection that is a 3 layer necklace. I love this piece and it was so affordable. I think it’s my go to piece in my collection right now. They have great pieces so you should definitely check them out. This necklace is linked here.

Lastly, this purse is seriously one of my favorites. I love how it fits my necessities and it is a dupe for the Chloe Faye bag! It was under $40 dollars and keeps you from over packing things in your purse because I am so guilty of this.

I love this whole look because its cute and comfy and something I wouldn’t usually wear, but it is nice to try something new! Hope you enjoyed. Everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend. XOXO

P.S. Here is a funny picture I found after looking back through the pictures.. you are welcome… hahahaha!

Forever 21 Sale

So, I wanted to do a post spotlighting some of my favorite things from the Forever 21 sale before it ends. There are so many great pieces for really cheap! You can shop all of the products and more that I don’t talk about by clicking on one of the products below!

One of the first things I absolutely love is this pin stripe off the shoulder top that is on sale for 12.53! That is a steal seriously. I have one similar to this top, but I had to share it with you all if you are still loving the off the shoulder trend!

This satin keyhole tank dress for 5 dollars is such a staple piece for your closet. I am definitely getting this because for 5 dollars versus how many ways you can wear this, it would be dumb not to get it. It comes in three different colors, but the blush is my fav.

These active leggings with the mesh detail are very trendy right now. And the 12$ dollar price tag is way under compared to other brands. I love Forever 21 activewear because it is nice quality and is so affordable. Definitely recommend snatching this up before the sale ends.

I really love rompers, but I hate how they fit me. I really do love this white romper with the flare sleeves. And the 24 dollar price is not too bad either. I feel like this is a staple summer piece that you can really use multiple times. Just by switching accessories to change up the look. LOVE THIS!!

I am always looking for new comfy heels. I really like the color of these, the thicker heel which makes them more comfortable to walk in, and the fact they are under $20. They also come in black, but I don’t have many heels in this nude color so I definitely want these.

I also really love my lace up sandals and these are on sale for under $10 so I had to include them. I have a similar pair in black. But the nude color would be great for the spring/summer.

That is my top favorites from the sale, but you can shop some more of my favorites in the links provided a the top. All you have to do is click on the item you like and it will take you directly to that product. Hope you have a happy weekend. Thanks for reading!! XOXO

April Favorites 2017

April actually flew by. I am sad to see it go, but excited for the month of May! There are many products I have been loving over the course of the last month and I am very excited to share them with you all.

One of the first things I have been loving this month is the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic cloud serum. This stuff has been amazing for my skin. It keeps it so hydrated, but isn’t a thick moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling like there is a film on it after I apply. This feels like what I would imagine a cloud feeling like if I put it on my face. It is a gel serum so it isn’t heavy and it truly leaves my skin feeling so moisturized all day. It is more on the expensive side, but I think keeping my skin healthy is very important.

Another product I have been loving is my First aid beauty skin rescue deep cleanser with red clay. I recently just got this towards the end of the month. But I had tried it out previously and I decided to buy the full size. I can already tell such a difference in my skin. My pores seem smaller and my skin feels smoother. I am loving this product and I need to give more credit to First aid beauty and try out more of their products.

Another favorite are my Jessica Simpson white uneven hem frayed jeans. I LOVE THESE. They are so comfortable and I just love how they fit me. I really like the uneven hem look this spring and found a few that were a ridiculous price, but these were so inexpensive. My mother actually surprised me with these because I had been talking about them and never bought them. Highly recommend these and the uneven hem this season!!

I have been using my glass tumblr from Target so much this month. It is my favorite blush color and it is made out of glass instead of plastic which I love. It was under $10 and it comes in 4 colors so I might have to grab the teal color next since I have been using mine nonstop. It is linked here if you want to check it out.

I really like getting gel on my nails because it lasts longer and makes my nails so much stronger so they can grow. Plus the no chipping and the wear time really make it hard not to love getting gel. I recently found my favorite color and I don’t know how I will ever love another color more. I linked the regular nail polish here, but I get the gel at the nail salon. The color is by OPI called Tiramisu for Two and I love this dusty blush pink color. I am obsessed with it actually.

Those have been my favorites for this month. I am excited about the month of May and what it will bring. I hope you enjoyed reading and let me know what your favorites have been for the past month. XOXO

Weekend in Columbus, OH

Happy Monday everyone. I had so much fun over the past weekend exploring a very small part of  our future home for the next year. Chad will be attending Ohio State for his Master’s, while I will be doing mine online through the University of Louisville. Anyways, we had so much fun touring Ohio State’s campus on Friday and Chad enjoyed meeting with his professors. It was a great experience surrounded by people who love us. We are both excited to start this new adventure in two months and see what this next year will bring. Also, my outfit details are linked at the bottom from outfits I wore on the trip.

On Saturday, we all went to look at our apartment and we love it so so much! It is going to be the perfect space for us and I am so excited to decorate to make it feel like our home. After, the girls went shopping while the guys went golfing. We went to the Easton town center and there are so many stores there. I need at least two full days to go to every store. It is pretty large and a great little walk. Some stores are outdoors and others are in the mall area. Such a cute area and I can’t wait to go back and eat at some of the yummy looking restaurants there.

On Sunday, my mom and I left a little early to go check out this diner that was about 6 minutes from the hotel. They had the best pancakes I have ever had. They were made with donut batter and they were bigger than my head. After, we went ahead and headed home.

All in all it was a great weekend and two months exactly from today, we will be back in Columbus, OH in our new apartment. I am so excited to see where this next years takes us and also very excited to be able to explore the city with Chad! Hope you all enjoyed reading and seeing some pictures I took while in Columbus this past weekend. Hope you all have a great rest of the week. XOXO

Decor pieces I love

So moving out of an old apartment and soon to be moving in to a new apartment, I have been doing some shopping to figure out how we want to decorate our new apartment. I want everything to be simple and clean with a few pops of color in the bedroom and living room.

So the first thing I purchased was a pop of blush pink throw pillows that will be in the bedroom and everything else will be white. I love this pastel color because it isn’t too bright and having a few pops of this blush color won’t make the room feel to girly. It is the perfect size and I love the stonewashed look. I think these will look so good on a all white bed.

This bath rug from Anthropologie is probably my favorite. I love how intricate it is and it is different than a normal rectangle bath mat. It comes in two colors and I think it will look so good and be so durable. Since it also has neutral shades, you can pair it with any decor items and they will match so well. You could use this for years and switch up the decor every now and again for a new look!

Something else I have to have is this Capri Blue Iridescent Jar candle from Anthropologie as well. It smells so delicious and the jar is so cute. After you burn it, you can keep the jar for decor. I love love love this scent. It will keep your apartment smelling like Anthropologie hours after you blow it out!

Since our couch is grey I am wanting to get a navy rug since I already have navy throw pillows that I used on my bed in my last apartment. That is really the only pop of color I want in the living room, and I still haven’t figured out which one I like, but this is kind of the look I am leaning towards. Not quite sure if this is the one I will get, but I do love this one from Rugs USA. If you haven’t shopped on there before, you can get really good rugs for a great discount. Definitely check them out if you are looking for a new rug! This rug is linked here.

Lastly I ordered these to hang above our bed and I am so excited for them. How cute are these? This isn’t the exact one I ordered, but it still says the same thing. I fell in love with these prints and can’t wait to hang them. They are so simple yet so adorable! These below are linked here.

What are some of your fav decor pieces that make your place feel more like home? Thanks for reading! XOXO

Recently purchased favorites!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Sorry for not posting on Friday, but chad and I have been busy moving that I just didn’t have time to sit down and write a post. But anyways, this week will be normal posts!!

So, I have been doing some spring shopping over the past month and wanted to share a few things that I recently bought that I am lovinggggg! One of the first things that sticks out in my mind is my B.P. washed v-neck tee from Nordstrom. I purchased the pink color at first and love this basic tee so much that I bought it in purple and navy as well. I plan on purchasing the white and black because these are great simple, comfy tees to throw on that are really good quality, but aren’t expensive. These are $17 dollars and it comes in 6 different colors. I have been loving wearing these with some ripped jeans and a cute layered necklace (which is another one of my recent favorites below. They also have free shipping and free returns all of the time!!

Another recent favorite is my Carat Multi-strand layered necklace from thestyledcollection.com that is linked here. I love this necklace because it adds an extra touch to your outfit without having to put a lot of thought into it. I found this a month ago from another blogger thesweetestthingblog.com, seriously check her out!!. But it looked so cute that I ended up purchasing it. It was on sale, plus with your first purchase you get 10% off if you sign up for emails. I think I ended up paying around $30. It is sold out right now and they are doing pre-ordering for when the stock is available again!

Like I talked in my last post, I have been obsessed with these gladiator sandals from Target. How cute are these for summer? I love the stud detail and how they go up around the ankle. I just love these. I also love the price being under $30. They come in 3 different colors and I have the tan, which honestly goes with everything! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new summer staple piece.

These jeans have been my favorite. They are so comfortable and I am loving ripped jeans right now. I have more pairs of ripped jeans than non-ripped jeans. I love how distressed they look and that they are on sale for under $30!! You can’t beat that.

Lastly, I have heard great things about drinking from glass instead of plastic so I bought this cute glass “sipper” as they call it and I love drinking out of this. I love the color (mine is the cashmere pink color, but 3 other colors are available). It was under $10 dollars and great quality. You can put other drinks besides water, but I am always looking for a good water glass! If you are looking to switch from plastic water bottles to glass, definitely check this glass out!

Hope you all enjoyed reading! See you Wednesday with a new post. XOXO

Designer products for less!

The first item that I have and love is the dupe for the $900 Valentino “Rockstud” sandals. These have been so popular lately, but honestly not many people can afford the high price tag for sandals. I found a dupe if you will for these shoes from Target for under $30. They looks so identical, yet you don’t break the bank. Also I love mine and they are so so comfy. On the left are the Valentino sandals and on the right are the Target studded gladiator sandals (Little darker in person).

The Chloe bags are so popular right now and I am so obsessed with the Chloe Faye and the Chloe mini marcie bag, but I don’t want to spend the almost $2,000 dollars on the Faye and the $890 on the Chloe mini. I found great look alikes for this bag and actually own a Chloe Faye look alike. On the left top is the Real Chloe Faye in a dark grey color and on the right is the look alike in a lighter gray color linked here.

Also the Chloe Mini Marcie bag has a cute look alike that is under $50. It isn’t exact, but it gives you the look you want if you like this bag. On the left is the real and the left is the look alike. Like I said, they aren’t exact, the one on the right is suede and the one on the left is a leather, but I still think they are both so cute in their own ways and the look alike is linked here.

Karen Walker sunglass styles are so cute, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money on sunglasses that I may lose or break. (Sunglasses are the one thing I can’t keep in good shape haha). There are so many look alikes for these that it’s kind of overwhelming. I am sure the Karen Walker sunglasses are way better quality, but I would rather spend $300 dollars elsewhere in my opinion. So these dupes are a great option if you like this style, but don’t want to break the bank with the price tag of the real deal.

Here are a few dupes I love and what can be better than getting the style/look you want and saving money. Designer is great, but for people on a budget, some people need a dupe!! Hope you enjoyed this post. XOXO

Fun prints for Spring/Summer

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend. Unfortunately, it is time to get back in to the work week. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun while working. If anyone knows me, they know I have recently become obsessed with anything with cacti print. I don’t know why, but I think it is such a fun print. Below I will show you some fun clothing pieces that have cute prints that will be great for the spring/summer seasons. Everything is linked below! Also, quickly, I announced my giveaway winner on my Facebook page! Can’t wait to do another giveaway!

Okay guys, this cacti top from target is too dang cute. And for $12 dollars. I bought this and fell in love. I got a medium in this because I didn’t know about the fit, but it is more oversized so I would stick with your true size if you like the looser fit or size down for a more snug fit.

This one is more on the pricer side, but I saw this in a picture on instagram and thought it was so adorable. It is a light sweater that would be easy to throw on if you were going out on a cool night and wanted a cute outfit. This pairs so cute with a pair of high wasted jeans and some sandals. Absolutely love this. Its also really popular because there is one size left.

One of the next prints I have been loving is the palm leaf print. This cold-shoulder swing dress is so perfect for summer or to wear on a vacation. It is also more neutral and wouldn’t be hard to dress up or down with different accessories. I really like this dress because I am not super into floral dresses in my opinion and I think this is a great alternative to spice up a dress. This dress is also 50% off right now on missguidedus.com making it 25$!!

Also this bikini in this palm leaf print is amazing. It has the lace up detail and the strappy detail as well which is really in right now. I especially love fun prints for my bikinis and this one is great and also the price isn’t bad at all!

Another fun print this spring and summer season is Gingham. Gingham is classic print. You can pretty much find it in every color. This gingham ruffle tea is so cute and would look great with some high waisted shorts or white jeans and gladiator sandals. I love ruffles and gingham and this shirt with both is everything.

I also absolutely needddddd this gingham print one shoulder bikini top. How stinkin’ cute is this? I am in love. I have no words for this. Also, 34$ for this is a great price and Asos is really good about having sales!

Lastly, I am really liking the embroidered print that is in right now. This Free People dress is so popular right now in white, but I personally love the navy color. I love it, but can’t see myself spending 168$ on a dress that I probably wouldn’t wear more than a few times. But I love this dress so so much!

I also really like this embroidered loose tee. It is simple, but still has the embroidered detail that makes it a look all on its own. Also this is from Anthropologie and you can find so many BOHO clothes from there. So cute!

Thanks for reading everyone. Let me know what fun prints you are loving for spring/summer!

Favorite Sephora products under 30$

Happy Friday everyone! Since my giveaway for a $30 Sephora Gift card ends this Sunday (On easter 04/16/17), I thought it would be fun to post about my fav items from Sephora under 30 that you could spend the gift card on if you’re the winner!

The first item I love from Sephora is the Dry Bar Detox dry shampoo. Not only does this dry shampoo keep your hair feeling freshly cleaned on the off day you don’t wash your hair, it smells amazing. A bottle does last for awhile as well and I just spray in my root area and then use my fingers to fluff my hair and it gives your hair so much volume and soaks up any oil in your roots!

The second product I love from Sephora is there face masks and sleeping masks. There are so many masks you can buy that are used for different skin problems. They work so great and they are very inexpensive.

The Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipsticks are one of my favorite lipsticks. I currently own Lovesick and Bow n Arrow and they literally last forever on my lips. They go on so smooth and they are 20$ which may be on the pricier side, but that is why I buy neutral shades and wear them to they are out. Love this product! (I linked the whole collection above, but if you click on it, you can shop the individual ones).

The Clinique take the day off balm is amazing. If you enjoy wearing makeup, but want something that takes off all of your makeup easily. This is that product. It melts your makeup off so quickly. It was crazy the first time I used it. I didn’t have to scrub, just put some on my hands and rubbed it around my face and eyes and rinsed my face. It was seriously that easy. Even with waterproof mascara. It is 28$ which in my opinion is so worth the price.

Another favorite is the Hangover primer. It is infused with coconut water and keeps my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed while keeping my makeup on all day. It is a lighter primer so it won’t feel like it is clogging your pores. I have talked about this on my blog before and love it!

Lastly, Prada candy is one of my favorite fragrances. I go through this stuff so quickly because I just love the sweetness of the scent. Seriously my favorite. I have the actual spray, but the rollerball is 28$ and the scent will last all day. I am not kidding.

Hope you all enjoyed and don’t forget to enter my giveaway! Just like my Facebook page Obsessively Grateful and share this post! Hope everyone has an amazing Easter weekend. XOXO!

My all time favorite denim!

I have recently in the past few months become more interested in expanding my denim collection. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing leggings, but I am trying to find comfy stylish jeans that I like to wear just as much as my leggings.

My top favorite pair are my Topshop Leigh moto jeans. I own the black wash and the light wash denim and I love both of them. They are so worth the money although sometimes Nordstrom does have them on sale like 30 dollars off so keep an eye out for that. Anyways, these are so comfy that I actually wore my black pair on my last flight and it was a 4 hour flight so you can imagine that they must have been comfy for me to wear them through that travel day. Topshop jeans have seriously become my favorite and I have been trying to figure out what my next pair will be! Definitely recommend these above all others.

Another pair I love are my Celebrity Pink jeans that I bought from Macy’s. I have the medium/dark wash denim and they are so comfy as well. They fit my body just right and really keep their shape after washing. The price isn’t bad either so I definitely recommend. Plus they come in all different denim colors.

American Eagle jeans are just good in general. I have been wearing their jeans for years and they never disappoint me. They also last for years so you don’t have to worry about rips or them losing shape quickly. They are really great quality and they of course come in so many styles, shapes, lengths, and colors. Another great place to buy denim.

I also love my Free People white ripped jeans. They have been on sale for a while now and I love the uneven hem which I have really been into lately. I really want to find a pair that do not have rips in the knee, but they have the uneven hem. I did find a pair on Macy’s website, but their 10 dollar shipping just makes me not want to order them. Oh well.

There are so many other brands of denim that I have fallen in love with over the past few months, but these are the brands I wear the most and recommend the most. They are all great options and are all such great quality and affordable. I hope you enjoyed reading. See you Friday with a new post. XOXO!
